Yesterday I received both my passport and notice that my poster abstract had been accepted for Edinburgh. (So has my PI's. Unfortunately they scheduled the poster session during the part she has to miss due to a previously scheduled commitment. This means I will have to make room for both of them in my luggage and hope I can put them up next to each other. Still, yay!) Technically they have not yet notified us that our applications to attend the conference are accepted, but that would seem to be implied.
And now, I think I should leave LJ alone for a bit and go be useful -- or write -- or try for a high score on a favorite game.
Edit: Or perhaps eat. I had an orange, and it was good, but perhaps by 2:30 in the afternoon, given leisure and availability, it would also be good to eat something else.
Edit again: No, not a pomegranate.

Nah, I'd kind of like to go home afterward. ;)
