I need to stop reading Snape threads before I stop liking the character altogether.

There was a cloud of little butterflies all over the flowers on my way out today. Not really showy ones -- dull colors, little wings, fast-moving -- but I think they were butterflies. It was awfully bright out for moths.

I want to write something. Maybe in between clash cataloguing. Kate Lynn, I have not forgotten your ficlet.

Reading my eBay feedback is bizarrely gratifying. I realize pretty much all of it boils down to "She paid me quickly and didn't do anything notably obnoxious," but "Ebay needs more people of this caliber!" and "Top notch buyer! Recommend to all!" are still rather enjoyable to read. (Even if I'm not quite sure what effect recommending a buyer has. Then again, there are people who request that bidders have at least X feedback rating and/or will accept certain types of payment only if you have high enough feedback. Who knows.)

There's a new map coming up for Neopets -- they're apparently adding a place called Brightvale, 50 miles to the east and run by Skarl's elder brother. This just begs the question of why Skarl didn't try them when Meridell was struck by famine. (Well, unless Brightvale was too, but if there was sharing of the orb, it wasn't mentioned.) I suspect this is not going to be addressed. Ah well.

I have got to write that Sloth poem.

Heh, ebay comments are almost all alike. I'd click on various sellers and bidders just to see what kind of feedback they get and most are identical. There's only so much someone can say in 120 characters (or whatever it is). When I buy something and leave feedback it's almost always the same "item as described; fast shipment; would buy from again" unless of course it wasn't as described, shipment wasn't fast, or if I never received the item :)

Well, you want to cover the basics. :) It's just that some people's standard response is startlingly enthusiastic.
