How did you first hear of/meet me?
Where and when did you first hear of my name/see my work/'meet' me? With what people/series/groups etc. do you associate me and my writing? This is not a praise or feedback meme, this is just to track the path of my online presence and to see the connections involved, to find out how people link together.

Date: 2004-02-19 03:50 pm (UTC)And not only had I forgotten about the "Maud" slip until you reminded me, I didn't mind it a bit. After all, I tend to think of people in terms of their LJ and AIM usernames... thinking of them by the main characters of their fics isn't so very different!

Date: 2004-02-19 04:07 pm (UTC)Online, I just barely met you, when you were looking for me and stumbled across my LJ *grin* I'd never heard of your fandom alias before then, since I'm not incredibly actively involved in the fandom.
2) After you'd friended my LJ and told me you were an SQer, I promptly toddled off to the Sugar Quill and read all the pieces there. Good stuff, that.
3) Time's Riddle. I haven't read any of your other works yet.

Date: 2004-02-20 11:13 pm (UTC)I'm still working on it. I finished the drawing four years ago, but since then it's gotten stuck perpetually on the bottom of my "to be coloured" stack. Looking at it now, I think it's rather silly and very poorly written--but all the same, I'm going to post it on my Fanfic page when it's finished.
Which reminds me, I need to add Time's Riddle to my fic recs list.
**scurries off to do just that**

Eeee! Thank you. :)

Date: 2004-02-19 04:52 pm (UTC)As for association.... well, Stryfe, obviously, and Nur. :) I have to say that the first stories of yours that come to mind when I think of you are your Shadowlands ones, but I'm probably heavily biased...
Re:

Date: 2004-02-19 09:25 pm (UTC)Then I got AIM and you showed me the ways of AIM that first day, when I was waiting for OotP to come out and sick to my stomach.
I associate you with being a voice of saneness and reasonability, as well as with Young Wizards (I really should buy that book again, though I'm still sore at it being stolen).

Re:
Date: 2004-02-19 09:41 pm (UTC)And I still haven't gone back and reviewed 1975, have I. I still remember being rocked back at the end of the first chapter, and then finding the explanation very clever.
I'm still kind of freaked out by the book being stolen.... Incidentally, Diane Duane's doing a chat Saturday. (Wherein I shall probably go mad trying not to ask for spoilers which I wouldn't get anyway. She was on a writing getaway working on the next book recently, you see.)

Date: 2004-02-19 11:39 pm (UTC)Okay, I first-ever-heard-of-you when I read the beginning of the Time's Riddle stuff at the Quill. At osme point during those uploads, you mentioned who you wrote as at FA. or I think you did. I toddled off over ther and read all the rest of the series (such as it was then.) I checked it semi-regularly for updates, because I like your Tom and also, Parseltongue is very under-used.
Or anyway, it's under-used well.
Aaand then you started posting as PK at the YW forums, and I read your post and IIRC had several discussions with you. I think that counts as meeting you. And THEN you posted a YW fanfic at FFN.net and I put "persophone_kore" and "PK" together and jumped to a conclusion, which turned out to be accurate (it helped that I noticed Alan Sauer join the forums at the same time as you did, or around then... I wondered vaguely about it at the time, I seem to recall.)
Therefore I associate you with the HP fandom and the YW fandom and forum. Pretty simpel I feel.
Isn't the WWW great?

Date: 2004-02-20 12:51 pm (UTC)I saw/found a story by you at FAP, and later saw some really good posts you'd made on a thread.
Where and when did you first hear of my name/see my work/'meet' me?
Isn't this really the same question? But I guess we "met" when I started reviewing your work.
With what people/series/groups etc. do you associate me and my writing? Tom Riddle...that sounds so bad...lol.
