It is somewhere around 100°F outside. I'm glad it doesn't feel like that indoors, but I think when my hands are getting stiff from the cold you may have overdone it. This is especially puzzling when I can walk through an open doorway into another part of the building and feel tangibly warmer.

Dear Vegans,
This came to mind when I was walking by some recently mulched areas on campus and pondering the different odors of the plant-based mulch vs. the manure-heavy stuff. Does a food plant become non-vegan if it was fertilized with manure from farm animals? I'm guessing not, since (1) the animals aren't using it anymore and (2) it would usually be hard to find out, but I don't know.
