Whales!

We are going whale watching this afternoon, weather permitting. I'm excited.

I am slightly less excited based on the person who is not going because last time she went, everybody got seasick and they saw one whale. But I'm still going. ;)

Everything was fine. We saw at least three or four whales, one of which the naturalist recognized from her tailprint who had a calf, and I think we got the one sunny afternoon of the week. I don't believe anyone was sick. I began to feel a bit off toward the end, but that was at least partly because the wind hurt my ears. When I went into the sheltered area, sat down, and closed my eyes, I found the motion very soothing. Of course, I suppose I was closer to the center of the boat then.
