persephone_koreI felt thwarted today. I tried to pay the rent, and the office was having system problems and asked me to come back later. I tried to get the car inspected; usually when I call ahead about an appointment they say to just come in sometime, but today when I didn't they had too many appointments for a walk-in.
Oh, well. I can do those tomorrow. I did get some writing and some laundry done. Although the laundry was more exciting than hoped -- I went to open up the dryer and smelled a scorched odor. I'd cleaned the lint trap, but inspection proved that some had apparently escaped.... anyway, I think (hope) I got it adequately cleaned out now. At any rate, nothing is on fire.
And hey, on Rescreatu I won the writing competition. Granted, I think I was one of three entries. But still!
And the Neopets plot looks fun....
