Excerpted from IM conversation with my mother

Me: I think I should have brought two sodas today. I want one already and I'm sure if I have it I will want one again later in the afternoon. Also, I forgot to put the one I've already got in the fridge, so it's still warm.
Me: *pause*
Me: I suppose having brought two would not really be likely to have jogged my memory, and two warm sodas really wouldn't be much of an improvement.
Mom: Well, if you put the one you have in the fridge now, later it will be cold.
Me: I just did that. And discovered that I had left a Coke in their over the weekend.

I win!
Me: In there, I mean.
Me: *can spell*
*sometimes*
*really*
Mom: LOL!

Yeah, I know, I need to drink more water. *goes to refill that too*
