I write weird things when I'm sleepy. Sometimes they're even a good weird rather than making no sense whatsoever.

On a related note, I think I might dredge up all my [livejournal.com profile] hp100 drabbles and repost them to my own journal. I think it was [livejournal.com profile] leadensky who mentioned losing some work when a drabble community went under; this one seems to be going pretty strong -- but hey, I might get comments from people who don't read the community, and that's always nice. ;)

Please do; I'd love to read your drabbles and hp100 moves too fast for me to follow.

I cross-post drabbles to my own LJ for similar reasons, and no one's complained about it yet!

There's a reason I visit HP100 separately and don't keep it on my friendlist, yeah. I think I'll see about starting that.

I pop over there occasionally, but they don't make it very easy to find the criteria for the current challenge so I find it takes too long to work out the context of the drabbles. I like the variety there, being exposed to topics I'd never read a full-length fic on and writing styles that put me to shame, but mostly my eye is caught by writers I know or subject matter that interests me. For the subject matter I tend to hang out at malfoy100 these days, but I miss seeing your and [livejournal.com profile] lazy_neutrino's work.

The challenge posts are in the memories, actually, but it is kind of roundabout. There was a prod to post the name of the challenge with each drabble recently, since there were getting to be a lot of posts on the weekends that showed up funny in the calendar, but that doesn't always make it very clear.

Yeah, that was me.

I was going through a phase at the time where posting the things (which were pretty short and not earthshaking in greatness) to my lj as well as to the drabble community was, well, you know. *I* was tired of seeing my name pasted (relatively) everywhere and it's *my* name.

Since the community went under, I've made a point of making a floppy disk save of all my stories when posted, as well as saving them to the hard drive.

I'd be interested in seeing your work, if that makes any diff.

Thanks! :)

I think I'm going to just grab them week by week, maybe combine some if I didn't post much. Most of my current ones are saved to my hard drive anyway, though I should really be better about backups.

First set is up, actually.
