...that's true. I keep seeing people saying how flat-out evil thisorthat person is. My main problem is the ultra-smug people who are trying to pick fights with mourning-for-the-election liberals, and the people who think Kerry is now a horrible bad man because he conceded when he knew he'd lost. All you see with fandom flamewars is "OMFG UR STOPID BECOS U DUN LIKE [ship]," which may be typed in all seriousness at the start, but I think is generally regretted later on, when the person finds half the fandom correcting their spelling. Lost elections create a sort of bitter "but what happens now?" feeling in one's stomach.
