I know this is somewhat behind the times, but I just wanted to say I really liked this vignette. Your Obi-wan characterisation is spot-on, and I like the recognition of the less-than-spectacular start of Obi-wan's and Anakin's partnership/friendship (which, of course, was nothing compared to its ending, but that's by-the-by.)
