This has not been a notably productive weekend. On the other hand, we had fun.
Last night we went to see The Bourne Ultimatum with some friends. I had not seen either of the first two, but my husband explained them at some length and I think I had only the intended amount of trouble following the story. I am amused by reports that Matt Damon replied to inquiries about a fourth Bourne by saying they could make it, but might have to call it The Bourne Redundancy. (Actually, if they did call it that, I might have to go see it in salute to their sense of humor.) Then we hung around afterward chatting. I think the major topics were blood donation and the fact that one of the surprises in the second movie was also a surprise if you'd read the book.

Matt Damon is hilarious. He made some remark to ET about being "disgruntled" that George Clooney won sexiest man of the year again, whereas he hadn't won any. He thought that becoming a family man would help, but then "Brad went and got, what, four or five kids; I only have two, so I guess I have no hope." Hee!

Possibly I am too literal-minded for some movies.
