Finished reading.... (HBP SPOILERS)

Hmm. I got my copy a little before one, and it's just before five now. I probably took an hour out for other stuff -- of course, I thought I could read fast until I found out somebody else had covered OotP in three hours.

Fandom is tiring and expensive. There are books I love more dearly than HP that I've only ever checked out from the library instead of buying them. Now, when I get hold of them I'm not unlikely to stay up late reading them, but this buying hardbacks and reading them on the first night is definitely a social thing. And, as noted, tiring. I am not sure I'll do this for book 7, but that might be because it's now going on eight in the morning and I haven't slept. TIRED! (The staying up to write commentary is also totally a social thing.)
