Mrrph.

I got going ridiculously slowly today. (To the point that I ate lunch before coming in to lab.) Oh well. Can stay late/go in early tomorrow/whatever; we have very flexible timing, I just feel silly.

It is raining. On the bright side, it is also warm. Then again, this could have something to do with the timing issue above.

I must think of a polite way to point out to certain people that they will no longer be using a fully automated approach if they use our hand-culled mini-database, although they will probably still end up making more sense. (Actually, by that standard it wasn't fully automated before, really....)

My Dariganfic was not accepted by the Neopian Times. This is actually completely unsurprising, since (for probably obvious reasons) they don't take WIPs, and what I actually sent them was the first chapter with a query as to whether the overall topic was acceptable. Unfortunately, they didn't answer the question.

I'm thinking I might start posting it here, partly because depending how fast I write and how fast they get the lot up, we're going to end up diverging and I may end up backing up and rewriting, but I like at least one of my scenes-that-may-not-happen so far. I might work out some sort of lock for it though. (Or not.) Interest-based, maybe.

And my external hard drive came. Whee!
