May. 23rd, 2003 11:48 pm...rather tiredly. Oh well. I don't think any of the bridges burned really mattered, though there's one I'll regret if it's actually gone. Not sure if it is yet. Mostly a relief though.

On a brighter note, Alan and I are writing. Again. Actually, strictly speaking, we're editing at the moment....
The crystallography meeting is over, and it has finally stopped raining. Everyone seemed to like the food, but I somehow don't think they're terribly impressed with the local weather. (Good side of this: No need to run the air conditioner.) The talks were cool -- some of them were very entertaining, though I should really have slept more knowing I was going to end up spending several hours sitting quietly in a darkened room.
