I win my NaNo. *grins* Unfortunately, this STILL doesn't mean I've finished chapter 14. But I'm still planning to finish the story -- preferably before too long; I want to get it archived, and while I am not really very fussy about this sort of thing in general, I think this one I really need to finish first.

And oh, yes! The encouragement is addictive, and people have made some very helpful comments both in terms of getting me to clarify what I'm talking about (such as not having the Weasleys' grass strewn with zucchini, even if it was really funny, and the fact that I do know a Nundu is not a shiny snake) and inspiring a new subplot that answers a very important question.
The only reason I stopped posting progress from the past few days is that I sort of bogged down in chapter 14 and realized I was only going to "win" if I plunged ahead into whatever interesting imagery struck my fancy.
