Uh....

Okay, if any of you have gone and looked at the new stills from the GoF movie (available at The Leaky Cauldron and probably elsewhere), leaving aside the apparent delusion that Voldemort's Muggle father was named Tom Marvolo Riddle... is it just me, or is the tombstone decorated with a very tall, robed skeleton with angel wings?

Clearly Voldemort is looking at his own gravesite, in a sort of Christmas!future type thing. XD

*laughs* I'd actually kind of like to see that.

LOL! I wonder if that could be made into an icon somehow....

That was the first thing that struck me as well. Spooky, but wierd.

Of course, since it appears Tom Sr. was the last Riddle (more or less), fair chance the grave would be very, very low key, but that's pure fussiness.

I was discussing this with and we are considering the possibility that Voldemort and/or whichever minions are responsible for holding the Riddle property "for tax purposes" decided to get the Riddles a really tacky memorial.

Complete with teeny inscription on it somewhere

"nyaaa!"

[identity profile] persephone-kore.livejournal.com 2005-07-23 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
Quite possibly.

Although really, what says "Nyaaa!" better than a giant angel skeleton?

[identity profile] rexlapinii.livejournal.com 2005-07-23 01:03 am (UTC)(link)
A giant angel skeleton with a red rubber clown nose.

Well, you did ask.

[identity profile] persephone-kore.livejournal.com 2005-07-23 01:06 am (UTC)(link)
....Yes, yes I did.

Erm... with [livejournal.com profile] rexlapinii.

What I want to know is how a twenty-eight year old (born 1915, died 1943) had a seventeen year old son come and murder him. Because, eleven? Bit young to be marrying, begetting a child, and abandoning your wife.

[identity profile] persephone-kore.livejournal.com 2005-07-23 03:48 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, that's fairly odd too, but considering they couldn't get the name right, I'm hardly surprised they'd mess up the dates.

If he were 38, it'd work fine....

...But I'm still distracted by the freaky skeletal angel.
