543 words on "Blood and Ivory." Doesn't show up on the site because I'm still waiting for it to load.
Well, supposedly 543. TextWrangler is overcounting wherever I've got markups.
I still kind of suspect that this story has too short a natural length to hit 50K, and I'm not entirely sure any of these 500-odd words belong in it. Maybe I'll try something else later instead.
