Well, when I say we have ideas for how they ended up as adults, it's kind of... plotless summaries. I think we might have had a few events.
And oh, my goodness, please don't feel guilty. At least not on our account. I'm flattered and have dragged Drea over to see your comment because I figure she will be too. (She may be replying as well; I'm not sure.) I like the idea of having inspired somebody. *grin* I understand that it makes some people skittish, but we've actually both happily read, written, and/or given our blessing to people writing fic-of-fic before -- sometimes shared continuities and sometimes where the new fic wasn't treated as part of the first-level(?) ficverse. I actually found a couple of fantastic ficcers I hadn't previously been aware of, once, by reading a story that referred to both their series.
It's great fun as long as everybody's civil. And now I'm babbling. I think I'd like to see your idea with or without Tom and Moira, really. *g*
