Heh...

I wondered if I'd lost that entry. It's dated June 17, 2003 (and was originally started at some point before the date actually listed -- I was moving it ahead in time to make it easier to keep track of, while I was writing it) -- pre-OotP, which explains the obvious lack of clue about Occlumency. Anyway, while the plot itself was partly just for the sake of whimsy, there is a section that was inspired partly by the forum arguments taking place at the time regarding whether it was really possible for Snape to spy on Voldemort. After two more books (and two more years), I was sort of interested to find it again....

That was a fun read. I loved werewolf!Remus trying to communicate with the Grangers.

That was fun. :) I suppose it would have improved the story if I'd ever explained what exactly was happening to Snape... and I'm sure I had something in mind for why Voldemort was sending a DE after a book with a butterfly(!) on it, but can't think what it was.

Wow. Loved the bit about putting calamine lotion on the Dark Mark, and also the bit about "lies shouldn't taste this good." And Voldemort's precise directions about how to get the book--dal;j gd;alj g;ldaj . Doesn't trust the intelligence of his minions much, does he? But then, he probably likes them that way.

*laughing* I had to go back to see what you meant about the directions to get the book. I'd looked at the description before, but... yeah, you have a point. :)

Thanks!

(I knew I'd written something about Snape justifying himself to Voldemort!)
