(no subject)

So, I finally switched off S1. Now I feel as if I'm reading someone else's LJ and friendlist, but I figure I'll probably get used to it eventually.

I am collecting icons. I shall probably try to stick to one per topic for a while, so I can keep track of them.

What I've got
Default (Persephone painting)
Rant (pretty dragon!)
Badgers! (HP, Hufflepuff, possibly Redwall; tends to get attached to to-do lists)
Titanium Spork (erm... irritation and/or cool gadgets?)
Darigan (Neopets)
Genfic (the "emotions" one -- I like "because there are all kinds of love stories," only I'd rather have a non-fandom-specific one)
Rainbow-lit book (reading/writing... it's beautiful)
Aslan (for Narnia)
Mogget (for Abhorsen... might put my own text on the base)
Mirror Dance (Bujold, Vorkosiverse)
Pratchett ("No one gets pardoned for living")

What I'm considering
X-Men (I have a Stryfe one sitting around, but maybe something else... don't want a movie one though)
YW (several options, but I'm thinking of something astronomical)
Writing (possibly a separate one)
Productivity/accomplishment/ta-da lists (as an alternative to the badger... hm, could use the book)
To-do lists (may merge with above)
Easter/Christianity (Idea: lower-mid left: cross; lower right: open/empty tomb; upper right: glory in clouds, maybe rainbow... unfortunately, I am not an icon-maker)
Cross-stitch (it might help if I finished something)
Star Wars (Maybe look up the Hufflepuff-R2 one Sreya has, or the Anakin-ghost with "In Which the Good Guys Win," and ask...)
Tolkien (No clue yet)
Howl's Moving Castle (Maybe I'll scan my own copy's cover... the movie ones I've seen didn't do much for me.)
Beekeeping (...Hmm. Bees, honeycomb, honey, mead? Not that I've ever made mead. Or drunk it. Um.)

I've seen it somewhere. I'm just not sure where now.... Hrm.

For some reason, Sebastian Shaw's Anakin-ghost never looked right to me. I realize this makes no sense, but he made me nervous.

I think I will snag Artoo though. Not that I need another Hufflepuff icon, but... R2!

I'm just used to Shaw, I guess. If they'd actually done some work to make Christensen look a little older -- cut his hair, for instance -- I might be able to make the mental switch. But 23 year old Anakin just doesn't look right for his ghost when he died closer to 50!

And Bee-deep-boop for R2 love!

I have the most peculiar mental image now of the Force-ghosts arguing over whether Anakin should get a haircut. ;)
